This 2-hour workshop will take you through the basics of making pinch pots and some decorating techniques to bring Takayna to your table. You'll be shown how to decorate your pots with hand-made mushrooms, or use leaves and ferns to make your own patterns.
You'll be provided with enough clay to make 2 cups.
Suitable for absolute beginners, you will be provided with clay and a few tools (though you won't need many, as most of this can be done at home!). Mahalia will teach you super accessible pottery skills and then glaze and fire your masterpieces for you. Your work will be ready for collection within 6 weeks of the workshop.
Please wear clothes you don't mind getting a bit dirty! Red clays may leave stains on light coloured fabric.
Tickets are limited. We recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
