Meet Guest Teaching Artist Claudia Lynn Rightmire SCD Summer Intensive A | May 31st - June 6th, 2025

About the Artist | Claudia-Lynn Rightmire holds an Honors summa cum laude BA from Roger Williams University, and creates within mediums of dance, writing, theater, and visual art. She is on faculty at Gibney Dance and has taught at schools such as Smith College, NYU Tisch School with David Dorfman, Roger Williams, and others. She is an artist with Rosie Herrera Dance Theatre, David Dorfman, and
INSPIRIT Dance. She has worked with NYC Children’s Theater, Third Rail Projects, Kinesis Project, Sarasota Contemporary Dance, and Moving Ethos.

About the Intensive |
SCD Summer Intensive participants will experience and learn from 5 different Sarasota Contemporary Dance company members, all with varying backgrounds and embodied practices. Participants will experience influences from Horton, Limon, Release Technique, to Postmodern.
