Will be a day of appreciation for all of you, everyone that came together to contribute, help and participate.
Come and celebrate and have a drink and get the community together, united we can make a difference! United we are powerful!
From 5pm!
See ya there!
What a night! Thank you all for coming out in support of the United for Palestine fundraiser, it truly surpassed all hopes and expectations. We’d like to extend our deepest gratitude to all of those who showed up for a cause they believe in, united for humanity and action in the face of an ongoing humanitarian crisis. The situation in Gaza is devastating and critical, and calling out this genocide is a moral imperative.
Your participation in this event has a direct impact on providing aid to people suffering the consequences of Israel’s ongoing violent occupation, and we cannot thank you enough for making this a meaningful and impactful evening.
Together we managed to raise $21,176.09.
This couldn’t have happened without your support, and so many people coming together to make a difference in peoples lives. Thank you!
To all of the artists involved who donated the most exquisite art, played the funkiest grooves and provided us with the night’s stellar entertainment, we thank you! Your united creativity was the catalyst for us to gather and make this change.
Big thanks to the TPAN - Tasmanian Palestine Advocacy Network crew who kicked off the night with the doco screening, and sold the coolest merch. If you missed out, send them a message!
Huge appreciation to everyone who helped out on the night, to the volunteers who kept everything running smoothly, Something Turkish for serving us delicious food and donating half of their takings, The Grand Poobah and their staff for providing us with a beautiful venue and making sure we were all sufficiently jolly, The Alabama Hotel, Lumpy Glass and Glazed and Confused for donating generous raffle prizes, the little birdies who shared the word, and of course everyone who came along! We hope you had a wonderful time, we sure did.
Free Palestine!
