Alban Gehrhardt / Summer Of Angels Concert #2

The New Hollywood String Quartet presents the SUMMER OF ANGELS Chamber Music Festival, July 10-13 at The Huntington's Rothenburg Hall. This year's festival honors the legacy of the Hollywood String Quartet, by performing works from their legendary Capitol Records discography. Internationally acclaimed conductor Leonard Slatkin will introduce and speak at each of these four concerts in a tribute to his parents Felix Slatkin and Eleanor Aller, the first violinist and cellist of that famed String Quartet.

On Friday July 11 at 7:30 pm, celebrated cellist Alban Gerhardt joins the quartet for the second evening of the festival, featuring celebrated chamber works by Tchaikovsky and Schubert.
