Join Maria of Mestizo Academy for hands-on cooking classes that explore the bold flavours and rich traditions of Mexican cuisine. Each small-group session includes cooking, tasting, and take-home recipes. Offered in English and Spanish.

Let’s dive into one of Mexico’s most beloved street foods - two ways! “Elotes” are grilled or boiled corn on the cob slathered with creamy mayo, cheese, lime, and chili powder. “Esquites” are the same delicious flavors but served in a cup with corn kernels off the cob, perfect for eating with a spoon. In this workshop, we'll learn how to make both versions from scratch and add your own twist to this tasty snack!
