Summer Gong Workshop with Taj Chander

Join award-winning musician and sound healer Taj Chander for a vibrant and immersive Summer Gong Workshop on Sunday, June 22nd at 1:30PM at The Broom Closet Memphis—a hands-on experience designed to honor the Summer Solstice through the sacred technology of the gong.

This isn’t just a sound bath—it’s a gateway into the ancient and alchemical world of gong playing. Whether you’re completely new or already exploring sound as a healing modality, this workshop is open to all levels and will offer both practical tools and esoteric insight.

We’ll begin with a guided meditation to attune your awareness to the field of the gong, followed by foundational teachings on technique, posture, and intention. You’ll learn about the gong as an instrument of transformation—how it works on the nervous system, the energetic body, and the auric field.

Everyone will have a chance to play the gong and experience its power directly.
We’ll close with a deep gong immersion, allowing the solar frequencies of this potent day to integrate fully.
