Take a seat—then make it sizzle. Chair Flair introduces you to the fundamentals of Chair Dance, blending grounded movement, flow, and sultry poses with a focus on balance, body control, and creative expression. You’ll learn essential moves, transitions, and techniques for using the chair as both a prop and a dance partner. Whether you're brand new to chair work or looking to polish your basics, this workshop is all about building confidence, moving with intention, and discovering your own flair—one pose at a time. You can wear anything you can move and feel amazing in—fitted dancewear, leggings, or performance-style clothing. We recommend leggings or tights instead of shorts, and bare feet, socks, or heels (optional). We provide the knee pads, as needed, and the chairs!
All of our Summer Break workshops are suitable for both first-time students and more experienced athletes or dancers. No experience or other prerequisites are required! These workshops are for adults, so if you are having trouble registering, please make sure that your birthday is on file or shoot us a message!
