If you've been "aca-obsessed" your entire life, or just since Pitch Perfect hit the cinemas, you're not alone!
We're a bunch of ladies / non-binaries with high voices (soprano, mezzo and alto) in our 20s, 30s and 40s who meet weekly in town (Hobart) to "make music using only our mouths". It's a thing now.
No prior singing experience needed to join our group & we do not make people audition.
We typically sing popular songs that you've no doubt heard on the radio, so you don't even need to be able to read music (we also welcome those who want/prefer to beatbox with open arms)!

Please note:
- We only hold "open rehearsals" for prospective newbies twice a year (typically late January / early February & August). This is because we like to work towards a couple of performances in festivals/competitions here & there, & we've found allowing new members to come every rehearsal significantly affects the rate at which the group can learn songs.
- Membership fees for this group are $145 per term to cover operating costs. Membership fees will not be reimbursed if for what ever reason you can no longer be part of the group.
- Whilst we appreciate being in a “pop choir” type group is exciting for people of all ages & different pitched voices, please do not message requesting that we reconsider our target demographic. There are very few social singing groups in Hobart that cater for this age group & our focus is on providing a fun, inclusive & safe environment for this particular demographic to make new friends / connections.
