Memory prosthesis: everywhere, everywhen
My practice examines the aggregations and accumulations of layers of image, data, and memory. Each image is a dense composite of images experienced and captured through feet, eyes, bodies, Instagrams, and AI generated images of place and people.

What is, is not what is
What is define, the object, seems to not be exactly what it is. What is defining, the subject, seems to not be exactly what it is. What simply is, seems to be beyond a finite intellectual comprehension. I return, as much as possible, to no idea, no expectation, no goal. Leaning towards a balance between aesthetics and meanings, abstraction offers symbolistic messages pointing towards uncompounded answers.

The Angels watch us eat
The Angels Watch Us Eat, has developed around the concept of a nativity and is inspired by the creativity of the women in my life. My Nonna creates a nativity scene each year, arranging figures and animals she has collected over her lifetime. Altogether, my exhibition is a surreal and sentimental collection of angels, aliens, ghosts, women, birds, and memories.
