The Accidental Astronauts
Peter and Laini Colman’s space comedy blasting off in August!
Directed by Laini, we are looking for a cast of 11 adults and 6-8 children, with a range of roles from Astronauts to Mission Control and some rather opinionated Androids.
The comedy follows the journey into space of a hapless and untrained crew of Astronauts following a bungled, simulated, practice launch which goes wrong. Guided by their equally incompetent Android, Holly (who has illusions of being human) the crew have to learn how to work together and endure the challenges of space travel as they adjust to their new found mission to be the first astronauts to land on Mars.
Adult roles are auditioning Sunday 1 June, 4-6pm and Child roles will be cast by expression of interest.
