Our next Repair Cafe is on Sunday 17th August, at Victoria Park Pavilion (just off the Daylesford Ballan Rd) from 1pm to 4pm. Look out for the flags at the entrance of the football oval/ caravan park.
This month we will be holding a Workshop on the application of ‘SOFT SOLDERING’ and its many uses. Some of the uses could be making and repairing Jewelery, assembling of Circuit Boards, repairing Electronic devices, securing electrical components, joining Copper pipes and fittings. This will be run by Susan and Julian, our expert Fixers in this area. Come along and see what can be achieved
If there is something you would like to know more about and we could provide a workshop on this, let us know, so we can arrange this for the Community. If you think you would like to learn how to do something, be sure to know there are others in the Community who would like to learn as well.
If there is a skill that you have that would be applicable to the activities and could assist the Repair Cafe, please contact Veronica on the number below.
We have Fixers who can fix Bikes, mend clothes, get Electrical and mechanical items up and going, sharpen knives, scissors and garden tools, all for a donation, which helps to cover costs.
While your items are being attended to, Dallas and Christina will delight in serving you a delicious afternoon tea for a kind donation.
See you on Sunday for an afternoon of fixing and helping to keep things out of landfill.
