Lunch and Play June 2025 Hog and Hominy

Who: MahJ Squad 901 friends will gather to socialize, have a little lunch, and play MahJ.
11:30’ish. Upon arrival, pick up your Name Tag. Meet some new MJ Players.
11:30 – 12:30 Social and Lunch
Mah Jongg Play 12:30 – 3:00 more or less.
Games last approximately 20 minutes or less.

The games are fun and social. Our players are at all levels of ability. It is our hope that you enjoy lunch, spend an afternoon tossing tiles with friendly people and make the monthly Lunch and Play event part of your social calendar.

We will keep a simple score. No Pie. Scoring: +0 pts for a dead hand, +10 pts for a wall game, +20 pts if you win with a joker-less hand, +value of winning hand listed on card. We play for Bragging Rights, and applause. BONUS +10 if you wear pearls to the event.

In the interest of keeping the games moving forward, we will follow NMJL rules as closely as socially possible.
Rules questions will be answered using the 2024 NMJL booklet, back of the card and the Visual Companion Guide for American Mah Jongg 2024 edition. The decision of the Judges is final.
