ANF Architects is pleased to present Flipside: Two Views of Digital Artwork, a dual exhibition by Collierville-based artists Amy Pennington-Boyce and Todd Boyce, on view beginning June 20. Join us for the opening reception on Friday, June 20, from 5–7 PM to meet the artists and explore their dynamic and contrasting bodies of work.
This thoughtfully curated exhibition showcases 26 original, non-AI digital works that reveal two divergent yet complementary approaches to digital media. While Amy Pennington-Boyce’s vibrant digital illustrations exude mood and movement through sumptuous color, symmetry, and hand-drawn detail, Todd Boyce’s monochromatic photographs explore architecture through the lens of form, texture, and tone.
Amy Pennington-Boyce is a contemporary digital artist and surface pattern designer whose work is defined by its elegant symmetry and emotive use of color. Created entirely by hand on a tablet using drawing and painting apps—and refined through Adobe imaging software—her pieces capture abstract interpretations of landscapes, dreams, and emotional states. Her previous solo exhibition was held at the Morton Museum in Collierville in 2024.
Todd Boyce, PhD, a bioengineer and photographer, draws from more than two decades of global travel—often with a camera in hand—to produce stark, black-and-white photographs of architectural elements found in cities across the U.S., U.K., and Europe. A longtime member and current Exhibits Chair of the Memphis Camera Club, Todd’s images remove the distraction of color to reveal striking structural details—from midwestern hotel lobbies to San Francisco’s iconic Transamerica building.
Both artists utilize archival materials in their presentation. All prints are produced using museum-quality Hahnemühle papers and Canon professional inks to ensure lasting vibrancy and clarity.
So please join us for the opening of this exceptional exhibition at ANF on Friday, June 20th, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. Admission is FREE, and guests will enjoy complimentary soft drinks, wine, and snacks. All pieces will be available for purchase with cash, check, Venmo, or PayPal. If you’re unable to attend the opening, the exhibition will be open for viewing at ANF on weekdays from June 20th through July 18th 2025. Gallery hours are Monday - Thursday 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-3pm.
