The Write It Short: Writers Lab is a 6-week immersive writing experience designed to help new and emerging screenwriters develop and complete a short film screenplay from idea to first draft. Whether you're a storyteller with no film experience or a writer looking to level up your formatting and structure, this lab offers creative guidance and technical support in a collaborative, film-centered space.

How to develop original short film concepts using “What If” storytelling
Deep character development through guided interviews and emotional arcs
How to build beat outlines and scene-by-scene roadmaps
Proper screenplay formatting and page-to-screen writing techniques
Strategies for completing a polished short film draft under 15 minutes
