EMU-Sing Outdoor Science Workshop (Fall Grades 3-6)

Ready for an adventure? Kids entering grades 3-6 can join the Environmental Mobile Unit (EMU) for some hands-on science at the library! Discover nature with high-tech tools on the science van. Students will engage in science and engineering practices to develop an investigation of the grounds, identifying biotic and abiotic factors, microhabitats and connections to local watersheds. This project is a collaboration between The Montgomery County Library District and the Montgomery County Intermediate Unit 23, with funding from The Caroline Alexander Buck Foundation.

Unattended Child Statement: Caregivers of children ages 9 and under must remain in the room during the program and caregivers of children ages 10-12 must remain in the library during the program.
