Join SCREECH! SHEPHERD COMMUNITY RECORDER ENSEMBLE WITH EXTRANEOUS COMEDIC HAPPENINGS

Bring your nice wooden heirlooms or dust off your plastic Yamaha and join the Shepherd Community Recorder Ensemble! All ages and levels are welcome, so long as you can read music and know your basic recorder fingerings. We will learn a wide variety of music and prepare for a concert at the end of each semester. The first week of each semester will be sight-reading. The recorder ensemble is under the direction of Andrea Diggs, Professor for Flute at Shepherd University School of Music.

Fall 2025 Semester – Mondays, August 25-December 8, 2025 from 6:00-7:20 p.m. with a concert on December 9, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. in the Frank Arts Center Theater. Placement auditions will take place during the first rehearsal on August 25. The cost is $160 per semester.
