AUDITIONS! Shepherd Community Flute Ensemble

Join our newest ensemble!

The Shepherd Community Flute Ensemble is for intermediate to professional level flutists in the area to learn a variety of works during weekly rehearsals in preparation for a concert at the end of each semester. We seek to have players on piccolo, concert, alto, and bass flutes who are open to old and new music alike. Flutists need to have their own instruments and be able to learn their parts independently. The flute ensemble will be co-directed by Andrea Diggs, Professor for Flute at Shepherd University School of Music. Eighth grade to adult welcome. Auditions will be on August 26, 2025 from 6 – 8 pm. Walk-in registrations will end at 7:30 pm. Rehearsals will be Tuesdays beginning September 2-December 2 from 6:30-7:30 pm. A concert will be on December 9 at 7:30 pm.

Cost upon acceptance is $160 per semester.
