AUDITIONS! Shepherd Community Music and Sinfonia: A Learning String Ensemble

Auditions for the Shepherd Community Orchestra and Sinfonia: A Learning String Ensemble will take place on Wednesday, August 27, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at the Frank Arts Center. Walk-in registrations end at 8:30 pm. The Shepherd Community Orchestra is under the direction of Camilo Pérez-Mejía, Professor for Cello at Shepherd University School of Music. Advanced string musicians ages middle school to adult can audition.

Sinfonia: A Learning String Ensemble is under the direction of Renee Shaw Nutwell, alumni of Shepherd University School of Music and owner of Shaw Strings, a private music lessons studio. Intermediate string musicians youth to adult can audition.

Rehearsals will begin on Wednesdays, September 3-December 3.
The Shepherd Community Orchestra will rehearse from 7:30 pm-9 pm.
Sinfonia will rehearse from 6:15-7:15 pm.

Cost is $160 per semester. There is no fee to audition.
