The Inner Cartographer: Mapping Your Creative World

In this two hour workshop, you’ll create a hand-made map of your inner creative landscape. Inspired by the art of cartography and fantasy worldbuilding, you will investigate and illuminate the unique facets of your creativity - how they connect, where they thrive, and the paths that lead between them.
Through guided prompts and playful mapmaking techniques, you’ll gain new insight into your creative self, chart a course for future exploration, and walk away with a beautiful, framed artwork that serves as both inspiration and a reminder of your expansive imaginative world.
Led by interdisciplinary artist and award-winning filmmaker Nora Jane Long in collaboration with Movers & Shakers, this session invites curiosity, reflection, and joyful self-discovery.
Held at the Gaze Gallery at the ARCOS apartments (340 Central Ave, Sarasota) and open to all, no prior art or cartographic experience needed.
