About the event

Lemur Conservation in Sarasota

Just east of Sarasota, outside of Myakka City, is the 30-acre Lemur Conservation Foundation’s sanctuary for Madagascan lemurs. It was founded to save and protect these endangered and critically endangered primates. We will hear from the Foundation’s Conservation and Research Director about their work and the possibility of a tour of the Myakka location.
