Join us for a dynamic evening of connection, conversation, and collective action. Tap Into Community is more than just a happy hour - it’s a Power-Building Hour where community meets purpose. Whether you’re a seasoned organizer or just starting to get involved, this is your chance to meet like-minded neighbors, build relationships, and get plugged into the work happening right here in Sarasota.
You’ll hear from:
Democratic Women’s Club of Sarasota County on our new direction and how to get involved in transforming our local political landscape
SEE Alliance with clear ways to engage in the movement to reclaim our schools, from showing up at the next school board meeting to joining their national Midterms on Our Terms campaign to take back our democracy
Sarasota Citizens Action Network (SCAN) with insights into the County Commission’s role in keeping us safe during storm season and how to hold them accountable
Come for the conversation, stay for the community, and leave with concrete actions you can take to make a difference. We’ll also be collecting donations of supplies for future actions. Especially in these hotter months, we have a critical need for instant ice packs and electrolyte powders. If you can bring items or donate monetarily to this fund, it would be greatly appreciated!
