The Rochester International Jazz Festival (RIJF)is one of the world’s leading jazz festivals, celebrating its 22nd anniversary festival in 2025. The annual nine-day festival is held in June in Rochester, NY, presenting more than 1750 legendary performers, familiar favorites, rising stars, and new discoveries from around the world in 300 shows. Making up this highly creative and entertaining ensemble are eight members, with a wide spectrum of character and musical background. Known for their multi-instrumental, powerhouse sets, The Buddhahood represents with a variety of vocal styles, percussion, guitar, horns, bass and keys in shades of Roots, Rock, Reggae, Funk and Afrobeat in a flavor they call "Worldternative" as each song forces you to stay on the dance floor.
