Making friends as an adult is near impossible; until now! Little Button Craft is bringing Speed-Friending to ARTISANworks.
During speed friending you'll be provided with a fun coloring sheet to work on throughout the event while you are asked low-impact questions that will encourage you to chat with those at the table around you. There are three rounds of questions with two questions per round and plenty of time afterwards to craft (optional), socialize, and enjoy the space!
The First Round: Two five minute time frames with two simple questions (one per time frame) to get the conversation going (ex: what did you want to be when you grow up, or what is your favorite type of food, etc)
The Second Round: Two ten minute time frames with two slightly more in depth questions to let others learn a little more about you. (ex: what are you interested in right now?, What is your current hobby?, etc)
The Third Round: Two fifteen minute time frames with two questions about your favorite spots in Rochester and things you might like to do with a new friend.
Instead of the pressure of handing your phone to a stranger to exchange information, you will be given small cards that you can write your information on to give to other folks at the event so they can contact you. The cards include your name, what you are looking for (friendship, casual relationship, relationship, other), the best way to reach you (instagram, discord, telephone, email, etc) and how to find you on that platform, there is also a spot for you to write a note to the person you're giving the card to. These cards will be available throughout the event and you may fill them out and give them ot individuals at your leisure.
