History Walk at Maplewood Park Rose Garden & Lower Falls

Join Genesee River Alliance and local historian Tyler Lucero for a guided river walk during Bridging Communities. Trace the path of the Haudenosaunee, freedom seekers, and early industrialists as we explore Maplewood Park and Lower Falls. Uncover the layers of culture, courage, and change along the Genesee River and take in the unforgettable views of the stunning waterfall.

We will meet in Maplewood Park at the Kelsey’s Landing sign between the two Genesee Riverway Trail signs. All 3 signs are located near the office building in the park on the opposite side to the Rose garden.

Pre-register to guarantee one of 15 reserved spots for each walk. A limited number of additional spaces will be available on a first-come, first-served basis during Bridging Communities.
