Chifferobe Workshop: Flapper Mob

Spend a trio of spectacular, summer Sundays living your best chorus girl life!

Kristen Minsky, founder of Chifferobe and The Tropigals “New England’s Premier Vintage Dance Troupe”, will be teaching this workshop, which will result in a number inspired by movie musicals and stage productions of the 1920s and 1930s. Anticipate a brief warm-up and a high energy routine that you’ll have in your back pocket to get the “joint jumpin’” at your next audition, wedding, or retro escapade. (We see your Gatsby theme and we are here for it!)

Every body is different and everybody is welcome. No prior dance experience is needed. Dance shoes or socks are required. (No street shoes are allowed in the AS220 dance space.) Comfortable attire that will allow you kick up your heels is recommended.

There is no final performance to look forward to or fret about, just a jolly good time!
