About the event

Knit in Public Day
Help us kick off outdoor knitting season with our annual KNIT IN PUBLIC DAY event! This year we're welcoming back Alley Cat Yarns and The Merry Dairy on Saturday, June 14th for a fun afternoon of beautiful yarn and delicious ice cream- two of our favourite things!

Everyone who makes a purchase on June 14th will get a free ice cream ticket. (Extra ice cream can be purchased directly from The Merry Dairy truck.) We will also be giving out ice cream tickets the week before the event: all in-store yarn purchases from June 8th-13th will receive a ticket to be redeemed on the 14th.

So invite some friends and bring your projects to knit or crochet outside with us! We will have tents set up, as well as a few chairs, but we encourage you to bring your own chair to guarantee a place to sit.
