Official Ribbon Cutting -The Town of Old Fort, NC!

Join us on Saturday, June 7 at 10:30 AM for a Town of Old Fort Ribbon Cutting that celebrates the strength and spirit of this resilient community.

Enjoy the all day celebration of the Trails and Trains Festival and then come down to help us recognize the amazing Town of Old Fort and everything this community has accomplished in the past 9 months.

📍 We’ll gather at the corner of Water Street and Catawba Avenue, right next to the Mountain Gateway Museum fountain.

This is more than a ribbon cutting — it’s a declaration:
Old Fort is open for business, rebuilding with pride, and ready for what’s next.

Just like in Marion, this event will serve as our collective exhale — a moment of joy, unity, and celebration after a long road to recovery following Hurricane Helene.

Please invite your family, friends, team members, and fellow community supporters. Let’s fill downtown Old Fort with the energy of a town that never gave up.
