Walking Through Plant Evolution

Join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger GraceAnne for a guided hike featuring every step in the evolution of land plants—beginning with a short talk about how and why plants need to adapt!

During this guided hike through the Wildlife Habitat Area on a paved trail, Tires to Trail, participants will get an excellent view into the diversity that has arisen as land plants have evolved. This 1.5-mile hike will last just over an hour. It is appropriate for all hiking levels and should not be strenuous aside from a few inclines.
