In Geomancy 101: Mud Skull VooDoo with Mia, we invite you to embark on a journey of artistic expression through the ancient and versatile art of clay. As a student, you will learn fundamental hand-building techniques such as pinching, coiling, and slab construction, transforming raw clay into unique and expressive forms. This series of four classes covers essential skills in surface decoration, including glazing and firing techniques.
Classes will begin on June 7th at 7:00pm and run for 4 weeks (6/7, 6/14, 6/21, and 6/28). Each class you will make a different ceramic piece using one of the four techniques taught in this series. Through hands-on experience and guided instruction, beginners develop a foundational understanding of ceramic principles and cultivate their own artistic voice.
