MLADI LEVI 2025
~SLO~
pogovor
Letošnja tema Poletne šole Moderne galerije je Revolucionarne poti; Smer: tovarištvo, format pa nomadska učna izkušnja, saj bo poletna šola iz Ljubljane krenila po poteh modernističnih spomenikov še v Beograd in Podgorico ter na poti raziskovala dediščino jugoslovanskega socializma, solidarnostnih delovnih akcij, antifašističnih spomenikov in kulturnih vezi gibanja neuvrščenih.
Moderna galerija in festival Mladi levi letos že drugič sodelujemo, programa poletne šole in festivala sta povezana prek ljudi, programsko presečišče pa sta prav debatni kafani.

discussion
The theme of this year's Summer School, organised by the Museum of Modern Art Ljubljana, is Revolutionary Paths; Direction: Comradeship, and the format is a nomadic learning experience. The Summer School will follow the paths of modernist monuments from Ljubljana to Belgrade and Podgorica, exploring the legacy of Yugoslav socialism, solidarity work actions, anti-fascist monuments and the cultural ties of the Non-Aligned Movement along the way.
For the second consecutive year, the Museum of Modern Art Ljubljanaand the Mladi Levi festival are joining forces to connect their summer school and festival programmes through people, with the Discussion Cafés at the intersection of the two programmes.
Festivals themselves are a kind of nomadic learning experience, bringing together a variety of local and international programmes, people, artworks and, most importantly, festival audiences to temporarily join a “caravan” that gathers in a temporary community at Tabor.
The Discussion Cafés will address two of the themes of this year's Summer School, one focusing on “Other Easts” and the other questioning the Western canon – not only in the context of museum collections, but also in the context of curating international programmes and canon-building or curating in situations of crisis and war.
