Pop up free Saturday Lunchtime Milonga
I'm taking over the event space in the food hall of Kirkgate Market, Leeds. Its a small space 10m x 10m, but an amazing, public venue, set adjacent to the Food Hall. Although it is located in the Market, it is undercover, so no worries over rain!
The plan is 2 fold
1) to have a great time together dancing and enjoying the amazing location
2) to promote tango in Leeds and surrounding area
Leeds is a fantastic vibrant City with a rich diversity of activities.
We are very lucky to currently have 2 tango classes running and one monthly Milonga run in the City by Leeds Tango. I want to promote local Tango Classes and build the community of dancers. Lets show the public what we enjoy, Lets inspire them to join the local classes!
And lets enjoy an afternoon of Tango in an exciting vibrant space. The food on offer is also amazing with the best street food stalls.

The milonga is free, I need you to come along and dance and have a great time.
If you would like to come along and promote your class that would also be fantastic, please DM me to confirm. If you would like to do an "exhibition dance" again that would be fantastic, please DM me.
Parking - Leeds Market NCP - is the closest, LS2 7EA, directly adjacent to the Market Food Hall.

The Market Food Hall is located to the back of Kirkgate Market, if entering the Market from Vicar Lane, follow the signs towards the Food Hall, or head towards the NCP car park / bus station.
This milonga is "in public" so I will be operating a safe space for bags by the dj desk but please be aware that this is a public space. We will be as vigilant as possible but I can not guarantee the safety of items left! There will be a lot of people visiting the food stalls and market so please be aware of your belongings.
I will be endeavouring to make sure the floor is as danceable as possible, is it a good surface, but on day it might be prudent to bring shoe options for both slippy / sticky surface.
