Nice and Easy Trail Hike: Stage Trail

These easy-paced, 1 to 3-mile guided hikes are geared for seniors, but open to all ages. A wonderful opportunity to join other hiking enthusiasts who share in the joy of the great outdoors!
Hiking times may vary up to 90 minutes. Be prepared for variable weather, wear appropriate clothing and sturdy boots.
We will meet at the Mt Greylock Visitor Center in Lanesboro. After a brief introduction, restroom break, and water bottle fill up, we will drive up Rockwell Rd to Jones Nose parking. The Stage Trail is across the road and just under 2 miles round trip with gentle ups and downs. We will start in an open meadow and travel through cool forest with bog bridges and streamlets.
Please dress appropriately for outdoor walking in variable summer conditions. Wear sturdy shoes and a hat. Bring water, sunscreen, bug spray, and a snack.
