Letting you all know that we will be serving up a whole new menu of NICE and EASY programs this summer! In addition to our Nice and Easy Trail Hikes, we will be offering a new program called NICE and EASY ON THE RAIL TRAIL! This will be an invitation to come ride your bike (traditional or e-bike pedal-assist class 1) with a Park Interpreter along the beautiful Ashuwillticook Rail Trail!

On this adventure, we will ride on the Rail Trail to the Waterfall in Adams and back to Cheshire!

These easy-paced, 4 to 6-mile guided BIKING PROGRAMS are geared for new riders, but open to all ages and skill levels. A wonderful opportunity to join other biking enthusiasts who share in the joy of the great outdoors!
Explore the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail with a State Park Interpreter and discover many of the amazing natural and cultural features found along this popular recreational trail. Look for signs of wildlife and railroad history.
Bring your bike (traditional or e-bike pedal-assist class 1) drinking water and a snack or lunch; wear a helmet, and clothing appropriate for the weather.

FREE programs! Join a Park Interpreter on these easy paced bike rides geared for new riders, but open to all ages and skill levels. Program duration will vary from 1-to-2 hours and approx. 4-to-6 miles. Beginners welcome! Be prepared for the weather. Wear sturdy shoes. Bring your own bike (traditional or e-bike pedal-assist class 1) and a helmet, drinking water, a bug net or spray, sunscreen and a snack or lunch. Bike rentals may also be available.
