Tuesdays with Friends with Ron Fruge

Join us this Tuesday for a special evening with Ron Fruge. He is an acclaimed singer/songwriter and proud member of the legendary Fruge family bands that helped shape Louisiana’s musical identity.

Through heartfelt stories and live performance, Ron will take us on a journey through his musical roots, his family's influence on Cajun and roots music, and the songs that tell their story.

Tuesdays with Friends is a new weekly program hosted by Chris Miller and designed to bring the community together through live music, storytelling, and conversation. It is an intimate, laid-back series that feels like spending the evening with old friends. This program is set inside the Lake Area Music exhibition, bringing our local history to life.

Chris Miller, a local cajun music enthusiast, musician, and advocate, is a proud host and organizer of this series. Chris will lead each night with intentional conversation and questions, giving attendees a completely immersive experience.
