Jacksonville-Baldwin Rails to Trails Bike Tour

RSVP is required at jaxparks.coj.net under Nature Programs.

Join the park naturalist in the parking lot of the Halsema Road trailhead. We will leisurely bike roughly a mile and a half to a bat roosting site, where the naturalist will talk about Florida bats. From there you have the option to bike back with the naturalist or continue biking the rail trail. Along the bike ride, the park naturalist will point out birds, wildflowers, and other wildlife seen along the way.

Bring your own bike. JaxParks does not offer bike rentals.

Helmets are required for those under 16 years of age.

Water, sun protection and bug spray are recommended.

Outside programs may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, etc.
