We’ve designed a quick loop 1.5km loop, pretty much all green. This course is great for juniors and less experienced riders to give XC racing a go or continue to gather race experience. Seniors and experienced juniors can show just how quick and stylish they can be around the short course.
This is our first event up in the heights of Knocklofty so come along and try out some new trails
The Event
Take 45 minutes to complete as many laps as you can smash out – start time 6.00pm (Auscycling race off road or race all discipline required)
Time
Registration from 5:30pm
Race starts 6.00pm, finish soon after 6:45pm

The track will start and finish near the Knoicklofty lookout/picnic tables, a short distance down the trail from the car park.
Registration will be at the start point. There are no public toilets at this venue.
Bikes and Equipment:
Please be sure your bike is in great nick, with working brakes, no play in the bearings and plugged bar ends. Mountain bike riding can be dangerous, and we need everyone to wear a helmet and gloves as per Auscycling technical regulations.
Entry Categories:
For the twilight series we are looking to keep things super simple – one entry fee for juniors, one for seniors - doesn't get much simpler than that!
All junior riders are required to have a parent or guardian attend the event with them.
Online Entries Only: Please enter well in advance (this is very helpful to the organisers!) but for those that must wait until the last minute, entries will be open until 20 mins before race start.
Cost and Registration
Juniors, up to U19 – $5 Seniors - $10
To register and participate in this event, riders must hold a valid Auscycling Membership at the time of registering. For those unsure of racing, AusCycling offers a one month free trial membership. For more information on Auscycling membership options see

Please note: Membership must be valid on the date of the event for which you are registering. If your membership expires before the date of the event, you must renew your membership before entering this event.
Event Conditions
The event organiser reserves the right to change or cancel the event. This can be due to weather events (our permit to use the venue will be cancelled if the tracks are too wet) or circumstances outside of the control of the event organiser. If an event is cancelled, rescheduling will occur where possible. Full refunds are available upon cancelation or for anyone unable to make the date of a rescheduled event.
