Art For The Sea is a space where art meets ocean conservation. This collaborative exhibition is about showcasing how the community and artists see the ocean through their art pieces. We want to spark a conversation between people, evoke emotions and a sense of connection to our underwater marine landscapes, which are often out of sight, out of mind.
Featuring work from:
Jimi Karlsen' Underwater Photography
Shiloh Quilliam, Kate Deane and Bec Adamczewski - Blinking Billy Mural
Dekota Mark and Community Seaweed Cyanotype
Hannah Brosow' mixed media handfish
Alyssa Seckinger-Crow' Antarctic Landscape Paintings

This art show is to showcase the incredible work that artists do in offering the viewer glimpses of the ocean through different mediums and practices. Art has real power to create change and impact through storytelling, a powerful advocate for our ocean as they continue to be subject to the changing climate.
Art For The Sea Project initiatives are supported by the City of Hobart, as part of the Youth Climate Action Fund.
