🌿 The Festival of Resistance(s) is a free and open, one-day event that will gather artists and various Civil Society Organizations around the theme of resistance to occupation. These CSOs, representing occupied people and territories, and supporting human rights everywhere and for everyone, will have the opportunity to connect and join their voices to call for a socially sustainable future, a decolonial world based on peace and justice for all.
🌿 The festival will also feature an Art Corner, for making banners or leaving your own creative mark, a Music Workshop for the little ones to discover the world of percussion activism, and a craft workshop.
🌿 The artistic performance will feature several concerts, participative theater and dance performances, while two panel discussions will gather various figures such as Syksy Räsänen (Sumud - the Finnish-Palestine Network), Gashaw Bibani (Kurdish activist, social worker, and politician) and Ramy Essam (Egyptian artist and activist).
📌 The festival will be held on Kansalaistori and is free and open to everyone, from 11am until 10:30pm.
