DUNIYA is a world music band, rooted in the music of Mali, West Africa, which blends ancient and modern grooves and instruments into a rich and unique tapestry of sound. It's so beautiful hearing them and dancing with them out on the creekside!
Comprised of members from Mali, India, and the USA, Duniya emits highly rhythmic dance music interspersed with more deep and profound cultural grooves. Featuring exotic instruments such as the ngoni (12 string African harp), Djembe drum, and Bunsuri Indian flute, Duniya creates a transcendent musical experience.
Duniya's music is highly rhythmic and extremely danceable, interspersed by moments of slower, deeply profound music.
This is a sliding scale ticket event. We aim to keep our events affordable, while striving to pay the artists well.
Sliding scale tickets are $18-30. *Tickets start at $18, but, if you can, please add a few extra dollars to your ticket purchase. This helps the Pub to pay the artists better, and to bring a variety of art, music and cultural events to our community. xo

For this event, seating/service starts at 5:30, music at 6:30. We offer table service of food and drinks (quietly) before & during event.
*IMPORTANT: For our busy dinner shows, reserved/ticketed guests get priority seating & table service. We rely on reservations to help us plan for each show. *Reservation Policy for busy shows: Walk-in guests may go on the wait-list. After reserved guests are served, waiting guests will be gradually seated & served, if staff can accommodate them. Please plan ahead, to help us plan for your great service!

PARKING: Pub has free parking. More parking is nearby at the corner of Mill & McCourtney, a 2-minute walk. Across from Pub, French Ave has parking. Carpooling is encouraged - our neighbors appreciate it.
