Birding Hike - BioBlitz 2025

You know what they say, "The early bird gets... to observe the exciting native and migratory bird species of Northeast Alabama!"

Join us for an early morning guided birding hike at Canyon Mouth Park in the Little River National Preserve. Led by Scot Duncan, executive director of Alabama Audubon.

Friday, May 30
- 10:00 AM: Guided hike on Powell Trail
- 1:00 PM: Guided hike on Beaver Pond Trail
- 6:00 PM: Special presentation by Executive Director of Alabama Audubon Dr. Scot Duncan.
- 7:30 PM: Guided night hike to Little River Falls
- 8:15 PM: Mothing and Black Lighting at Little River Falls.
Saturday, May 31
- 7:00 AM: Birding at Canyon Mouth Park
- 10:00 AM: Snorkel survey at Canyon Mouth Park.
