BEAR THE ANT hafa vakið athygli með draumkenndum hljóðheimi, melódískum lagasmíðum og tónlistarmyndböndum.
Davíð Antonsson, trommari Kaleo, og Björn Óli Harðarson stofnuðu sveitina árið 2022 og gáfu út EP plötuna Unconscious, en lögin “Hey” og “Higher Times” rötuðu beint í toppsæti X977.
Hjálmar Carl Guðnason hefur nú bæst í hópinn og vinna þeir að gerð breiðskífu sem kemur út á árinu sem mun einkennast af þeirra einstöku blöndu af síkadelísku pop/rokki og sálartónlist.
Hljómsveitin kemur fram á tónlistarhátíðinni “Vor í Vaglaskógi”, og fer síðan beint til Egilsstaða, en heimamaðurinn Ívar Klausen plokkar strengina með þeim.

BEAR THE ANT have attracted attention with their dreamy soundscape, melodic songwriting and music videos.
Davíð Antonsson, drummer Kaleo, and Björn Óli Harðarson formed the band in 2022 and released the EP Unconscious, with the songs “Hey” and “Higher Times” going straight to the top of X977.
Hjálmar Carl Guðnason has now joined the group and they are working on an album to be released this year that will be characterized by their unique blend of psychedelic pop/rock and soul music.
The band will perform at the music festival “Vor í Vaglaskógi”, and then head straight to Egilsstaðir, with local Ívar Klausen plucking the strings with them.
