Walk A Mile, Get A Free Book!

Walk a mile and get a free book! We are going to walk from the library entrance, complete the walking path around the Bert Ferguson Community Center (approx. 1 mile), and return to the library. Everyone who successfully completes the walk will receive ONE free book each. Participants may choose their own books from the library's book sale collection. This program is open to adults and teens.

Special notes:
Wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes. We highly recommend hats, sunscreen and personal water bottles.

In case of inclement weather (extreme heat, heavy rain, snow, etc.), the program will be held inside the library. Participants may walk one mile (approx. 10 rounds inside the library) to qualify for the free book.

We will have free drinks and ice for everyone who joins the program.

10:00 a.m. - library opens
10:05 a.m. - meet inside the library for a quick briefing before the walk
