Join us on an incredible journey around the infamous Langdale Pikes and surrounding fells, including High Raise. On this walk we will summit 7 of the best and highest peaks in the Central Fells, all of which are Wainwrights.
These 7 summits in order of appearance are:
• Loft Crag (680m)
• Pike of Stickle (709m)
• Harrison Stickle (736m)
• Pavey Ark (700m)
• Thunacar Knott (723m)
• High Raise (762m)
• Sergeant Man (736m)
Not only will you gain an amazing sense of achievement on this walk, but the Langdales offers some of the most majestic mountain scenery in the Lakelands (the views from High Raise in particular are stunning); we will pass beautiful waterfalls; and discover glacial landforms - tarns and valleys. We may even get a chance to have a dip in Stickle Tarn on our way back down!
This circular route is just over 8 miles / 12.9km with 3,500ft / 1,065 m elevation.
The Langdales walk is a strenuous route, best for fit, strong walkers, who have a good level of mountain fitness. However, please rest assured that our Grand Scale Trails are led by qualified, knowledgeable and experienced Mountain Leaders, who will support, guide, and encourage you along the way. We will have plenty of rest breaks and walk as a group at all times.

Well behaved, agile dogs are welcome, however there will be livestock around and there are numerous ladder stiles which they will need to be able to get over.
Please arrange your own transport and accommodation, if required. However, if you would like me to help arrange car pooling, this will be an option, also.
