Musbury, Alden and Bull Guided Walk

A gorgeous 9.5 mile (15 km) walk from Helmshore, taking in 2 beautiful valleys and Bull Hill, on the top of Holcombe Moor. This walk will take us around the head of both Musbury Valley and Alden Valley, following the Rossendale Way.

There are a few steep climbs involved, a number of stiles and some boggy, uneven terrain. We will be crossing rugged moorland and farmland.
Well behaved, friendly (with other dogs and people), agile dogs are welcome (max. 2 per person), but please note we are likely to encounter livestock enroute.

This is a moderate to challenging walk with approx. 1500 ft / 450m elevation. This is expected to take 5 hours, including rest breaks.

As with all Abigail's Trails, this is a small-group guided walk led by a professional Mountain Leader. Spaces are limited and cost £15 per person.
