Scafell Pike is the most popular walk in the Lake District, and the highest mountain in England at 978m / 3208ft. For anyone who loves to be in the mountains or is yet to discover this newly acquired passion, our fully guided Scafell Pike walk is a great way to experience this majestic mountain.
We’ll climb Scafell Pike from Seathwaite using the stunning, well-known Corridor Route. This is a varied route, taking in the most picturesque scenery, with the opportunity for a wild swim / dip in the beautiful pools on the descent.
In the hands of our experienced guides, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy the breathtaking views and fabulous company, creating memories to last a lifetime. You may even choose to end the day with us at the Wasdale Head Inn for a well-deserved drink and somewhere to rest weary legs!
This circular route is 9.75 miles / 15.7km long and approx. 3000ft / 915m in elevation.
The Scafell Pike walk is best for fit, strong walkers, as it is a challenging route. However, please rest assured that our Grand Scale Trails are led by a qualified and experienced Mountain Leader, who will support you and encourage you along the way. We will have plenty of rest breaks and walk as a group at all times.
Expected Time – 6 hours, 30 minutes
Well behaved, friendly (with other dogs and people), agile dogs are welcome (max. 2 per person), but please note we are likely to encounter livestock enroute.
