• Icebreaker: “Show your favorite product image and why it works”

• Basics of Setting Up for Product Photography – choosing the right space, arranging lighting, selecting background, and placing the product effectively.

11:15 – 12:15 PM

THEORY BLOCK 1 – CAMERA VS HUMAN EYE

• How We See vs How Cameras See

• Understanding light, shadows, depth

• Difference between what you see and what the sensor sees

12:15 – 1:00 PM

THEORY BLOCK 2 – FOUNDATIONS THAT SELL

• Types of Product Photography (e-commerce, Lifestyle, Creative Image)

• The basics: Lighting, Angles, Composition

• Choosing Image Styles based on Branding (minimal, moody, bright, etc.)

• Common Mistakes (Do’s & Don’ts)

PRACTICAL BLOCK – SHOOTING DEMO

• Shooting 1 types of products: 1 skincare product or 1 food product

• Setup using natural light if its available and artificial light

• Camera + phone shooting

• Using basic props & backdrops (paper, wood, fabric, etc.)

• Quick hacks for styling without a stylist

3:00 – 4:00 PM

PARTICIPANT PRACTICE TIME

• Split into small groups to replicate a basic shoot using phone/camera

EDITING & OPTIMIZING FOR SOCIAL/WEB
