Join us for an informative social hour discussing efforts to promote democracy, both locally and nationally:
Civic Participation: How can our historical experiences shape our civic engagement today?
We the People: Why is the concept of “the people” essential to constitutional democracy?
Government and Constitution: What are different types of rights, such as natural rights, human rights, and civil rights?
Engage with fellow attendees in meaningful conversations guided by discussion prompts at each table, which will encourage thoughtful dialogue about efforts, challenges, and potential solutions.
Wine from Assorted Table and food from Orrman’s Cheese Shop will be available for purchase, and a special wine and cheese pairing will be curated especially for this event. Admission is free as part of our Civic Season programming!
