Plant Swap at the Phoenix Asylum!

Hello friends!

We are pleased to announce a new event at the Phoenix Asylum, a Plant Swap on Thursday, June 5th from 6pm-7:30pm in our space.

We got the idea from Double Union, a Makerspace in the Bay Area that advised us on how to host a plant swap, and we'll be glad to swap with you houseplants, cuttings, seedlings and leftover garden starts you may have.

Here's how it works:

Bring plants you are ready to pass along: these can be houseplant clippings, plants you've already put into a pot, garden starts you decided you don't want, or other interesting plants.

Do not bring any diseased plants or plants with pests. This will keep diseases and pests from spreading.

If you have them, bring a set of garden clippers and/or small pots to make it easier to share and take home plants.

This is a free event - and we are swapping (not selling) plants to each other.

Hope you'll spread the word with your green thumb friends, and even if you don't have success with plants, come by and we'll give you a baby spider plant, as they are very hard to K*ll. :-)
