Roots Music Project presents:
Join us for an unforgettable night of musical exploration as we present two distinctive performances that showcase the power of music as both artistic expression and cultural response.
Our evening begins at 7PM with "Chamber Music: Determination & Defiance," featuring provocative works that emerged from periods of social upheaval. Experience how these composers channeled resistance through their innovative compositions, breaking traditional boundaries while creating enduring masterpieces.
At 9PM, our journey continues with "Rhythm, Roots, & Resonance," where the Jones/Butterfield Duo transcends conventional genres with their unique sound palette. Their performance weaves together diverse musical traditions into a contemporary tapestry that both honors historical foundations and charts new creative territory.
Whether you attend one or both performances, prepare to be moved by music that speaks to the resilience of human creativity in challenging times.
