Die Urban Sketchers Berlin laden ein zum Einstimmen auf das 13th Urban Sketchers International Symposium 2025 in Poznan, Polen!
Ein Sketcher-Treffen für Berliner Sketchers und Sketcher-Gäste, auf dem Weg nach Poznan.
Zeit: Sonntag, 17. August 2025 um 12 (noon) - 18 Uhr (6 pm)
Treffpunkt: Humboldt-Forum, Schlossplatz, 10178 Berlin
vor dem Tor 5 (Durchgang zum Schlüterhof)
(ÖPNV: U5 Museumsinsel/Bus 100 oder 300 Museumsinsel/S-Bahn Hackescher Markt)
"Throw-Down": 14.45 (2.45 pm) vor Tor 5
Ab 15 Uhr ist ein "Sketchers-Tisch" im Bistro Lebenswelten für uns reserviert, im Schlüterhof des Humboldt-Forum.
(Bei Regen: Bar-Bereich im Bistro, ganz hinten)
Im Bistro bekommt Ihr Getränke, Kuchen und leckere Gerichte.
Wir Berliner halten unsere Stempel bereit für Eure Sketche.
Die Möglichkeiten zum Zeichnen sind endlos! Ihr findet viele Sehenswürdigkeiten in Sichtweite: Berliner Dom, Museumsinsel, Lustgarten, Kunstmarkt am Kupfergraben. Fernsehturm, St.Marienkirche, Neptunbrunnen und Rotes Rathaus in wenigen Min. zu Fuß erreichbar, ebenso Monbijoupark, Hackescher Markt, Jungfernbrücke oder Nikolai-Viertel.
Oder Ihr könnt mit dem Aufzug auf das Dach des HuFo fahren (Ticket 3.-) und genießt den Ausblick. Die Ethnologischen Sammlungen im HuFo sind ebenfalls sehenswert (Eintritt frei).

The Urban Sketchers Berlin invite you to join us in Berlin, and get in the mood for the 13th Urban Sketchers International Symposium 2025 in Poznan, Poland!
A sketchers-meet-up for sketchers from Berlin and sketcher-guests from everywhere on their way to Poznan, staying a few days in Berlin.
Time: Sunday, the 17th of August 2025, 12 (noon) - 6 pm (18 Uhr)
Meeting point: Humboldt-Forum, Schlossplatz 1, 10178 Berlin,
at gate 5 (passageway to Schlüterhof)
(Public Transport: U5 -Museumsinsel/bus 100/300 -stop: Museumsinsel/ S -Bahn: Hackescher Markt)
At 2.45 pm (a quarter to 3; 14.45 Uhr): "Throw-Down" in front of gate 5, Humboldt-Forum (the meetingpoint)
From 3 pm(15 Uhr) to 6 pm: In the inner courtyard (Schlüterhof) is reserved a "Sketchers-table" for us, in front of the
Bistro Lebenswelten. (In case of rain: in the "Bar"
inside of the Bistro, at the very back)
The Bistro Lebenswelten offers drinks, cake and tasty dishes.
You can get the stamps of USkBerlin for your sketches.
The sketching possibilities in the area are nearly endles!
You'll have the cathedral (Berliner Dom), the Lustgarten, Museums-Island, art-market at the Kupfergraben, St.Mary´s Church, TV Tower, Neptun-Fountain and the Red Townhall within sight. In just a few minutes walk you'll reach Montbijou-Park Hackescher Markt, Jungfern-Bridge or the Nikolai-Quarter.
You can also take the elevator to the roof of the Humboldt- Forum (Ticket 3.-) and enjoy the view.
The Ethnological Collections inside are also worth seeing.
